Dwight Eisenhower Believed the Bible

"The spirit of man is more important than mere physical strength, and the spiritual fiber of a nation than its wealth. The Bible is endorsed by the ages. Our civilization is built upon its words. In no other book is there such a collection of inspired wisdom, reality, and hope."

"It takes no brains to be an atheist. Any stupid person can deny the existence of a supernatural power because man's physical senses cannot detect it. But there cannot be ignored the influence of conscience, the respect we feel for the Moral Law, the mystery of first life…or the marvelous order in which the universe moves about us on this earth. All these evidence the handiwork of the beneficent Deity…That Deity is the God of the Bible and of Jesus Christ, His Son".    -- Dwight Eisenhower

Motivation is the art of getting people to do what you want them to do because they want to do it.

If you want people to view the LGBT community as promiscuous, sodomites unworthy of protection under the law as you say on this site they're going to have to want to do it. The same goes for proselytizing Christianity. You aren't going to have much luck converting anyone by telling them how despicable and evil they are. Present your faith as something that loves and nurtures people instead of a vehicle for hate and discrimination and you'll likely have an easier time at life.

God has standards that are wrapped in a covenant of love. The righteousness is His alone.
