AULA AND LEADING PRO-LIFE ORGANIZATIONS UNITE TO
STRIP PLANNED PARENTHOOD OF FUNDING
FOLLOWING SEX TRAFFICKING SCANDAL

WASHINGTON, D.C. (02-03-11) – Americans United for Life Action will join tonight with leading pro-life organizations for an unprecedented video presentation and call to action. An undercover sting operation under the direction of Live Action shows Planned Parenthood engaged in discussions of how to exploit innocent young victims of sex trafficking and how to cover up possible crimes.

Lila Rose, president of Live Action, will be on the webcast to show the video footage, explain the specifics of the sting operation, and detail Planned Parenthood's inexcusable actions. The Live Action video shows a woman alleged to be the clinic manager at the Perth Amboy Planned Parenthood Clinic in New Jersey talking with a man and woman posing as a pimp and prostitute about how to avoid legal troubles when bringing to the clinic underage girls and illegal aliens engaged in sex trafficking.

Dr. Charmaine Yoest, president and CEO of AULA, called on Congress to immediately freeze the millions in taxpayer dollars going to Planned Parenthood and for investigations into possible criminal misconduct by the nation’s largest abortion provider.

The pro-life groups participating in the special webcast also will stand united during the webcast to De-Fund Planned Parenthood, and strip the abortion industry of the $350 million-plus it receives from the nation’s taxpayers.

“This video will help Americans see the appalling truth behind Planned Parenthood’s glossy public relations machine,” said Yoest. “The world’s largest abortion provider poses as the defender of women’s health in the glare of the spotlight. But when real women enter their doors, only money matters.”

AULA played an important role during the Health Care Reform debates because of its opposition to taxpayer funded abortion, which included pivotal advertising campaigns in 14 congressional districts and extensive work on Capitol Hill. AULA's efforts during the last two Supreme Court confirmation events led to Dr. Yoest being asked to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee twice. AUL's legal team has been involved in every abortion-related case before the U.S. Supreme Court, including the successful defense of the Hyde Amendment. Abortion - Black Genocide?

'My People Are Dying'
By: Chuck Colson|Published: January 14, 2011 12:00 AM

Is abortion akin to genocide? That's certainly the opinion of one African-American pastor.
Last fall, I had the privilege to listen to a speech by Walter Hoy, one of the great African-American leaders of our era. His life and ministry offer some amazing parallels to the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Like King, Walter Hoy of Oakland, California, is a minister who focuses on the plight of African-Americans. Last year, Hoy went to jail for his non-violent action on behalf of the smallest of humans--unborn children. He violated a "bubble zone" ordinance in an abortion facility, where he was quietly offering choices to abortion-minded women.

Hoy, the founder of the Issues for Life Foundation, is deeply concerned about what he calls "black genocide"--the horrific rates of abortion within the black community. That's why Hoy is working on what appears to be an impossible goal: passing a human life amendment in liberal California.

When Dr. King wrote his letter, From a Birmingham Jail, he addressed those who thought his civil rights activities unwise and untimely. In his speeches, Hoy also addresses those who say that his cause is worthy and just but that he should just wait. "I can't wait." Hoy says. "You see, my people are dying."

Since 1973, he notes, over 14.5 million black babies have been killed by abortion. Every, single day, 1,200 black babies are put to death in abortion facilities, making abortion the leading cause of death among African Americans! Nearly half of all black babies concieved die in abortion chambers today. Hoy says this means that a black child is safer on the streets of the worst neighborhoods in American than in his mother's womb.

Hoy notes that between 1882 and 1968, 3,446 blacks were lynched by the Ku Klux Klan. Today, abortion kills more black Americans in less than three days than the Klan killed in 86 years! Think of it.

American blacks make up twelve percent of the U.S. population, yet thirty-seven percent of all abortions are performed on black women. This is because eugenic-minded pro-abortion forces target American blacks by putting abortion clinics in black neighborhoods, according to Hoy.

He's also turned his rhetorical guns on America's first black president. Quoting Elvita King, niece of Dr. King, he says that "those of us who care about the civil rights of all Americans-born and unborn--oppose Obamacare because we oppose the expansion of the most racist industry in America--the abortion industry."

The high black abortion rate has ominous implications down the road. According to the 2006 U.S. Census, the black fertility rate is 1.9--well below the replacement rate of 2.1. "Within a few decades," Hoy warns, "African Americans may well be an endangered species." This is why he calls abortion the "Darfur of the black community."

Walter Hoy provides a worldview lesson to those who desperately need it. Liberal elites teach women to view abortion as a simple procedure that will enhance their lives. Uh, no. Hoy reveals the ugly truth: those who promote abortion in the black community are racists of the worst kind--and that each abortion of a black child is one more step towards black genocide. And this is why Hoy cannot wait for the right time to try and outlaw abortion in California. His people are dying by the millions.

The Economic Impact of Sex

In a recent column, marriage expert Mike McManus explores the high cost of out-of-wedlock sex. For instance, over 7 million American couples live together. Four out of five of those couples will break up without ever tying the knot. But, McManus writes, if they’ve had a baby, many of those mothers and children will be eligible for Medicaid, housing and day-care subsidies, and food stamps.

Second, even when co-habiting couples DO marry, according to a Penn State study, they suffer a higher divorce rate than couples who don’t live together first. On average, each divorce involves one child. And like the never-married mother, the divorced mom is often eligible for many government benefits. According to the Heritage Foundation, McManus writes, “13 million single parents with children cost taxpayers $20,000 each, or $260 billion in the year 2004.” The total probably comes to $300 billion today, McManus says.

And that’s just the beginning.

A child born out of wedlock is seven times more likely to drop out of school, become a teen parent, and end up in prison. They are 33 times more likely to be seriously abused.
And we’ve all heard of the high rates of STDs affecting America’s teenagers—diseases that cost billions of dollars to treat.

Mike McManus, who also is the founder of Marriage Savers, has a few more ideas: States ought to create a marriage commissions to encourage marriage over co-habitation. State welfare offices, he says, ought to “provide information on the value of marriage in reducing poverty and increasing wealth, happiness, and longer lives.” And we ought to require public schools and publicly-funded family planning clinics to teach kids about the long-term benefits of rearing children within wedlock over co-habitation.

If we did all this, we could save hundreds of millions of dollars, McManus writes. Well, he’s correct. I wish political candidates were brave enough to take on this issue, but they won’t. Sex is considered the one great sacred right in our post-Christian culture.

But the evidence reveals what happens when we take it out of the God-given context of traditional marriage: poverty, disease, misery—and, yes, higher taxes for all of us.
So I urge all readers to think through the economic consequences the next time someone says that our legislature should not be wasting their time on social issues when our economy is in shambles.

Moral Issues in the Election
By: Chuck ColsonPublished: October 27, 2010 12:00 AM

Next Tuesday, I hope you will do your Christian duty and head to the polls to vote for the candidate of your choice. I trust that your faith will guide you in your decision. Which candidate will best promote justice and preserve order? After all, those are the biblically-sanctioned roles of government.

And which candidate best exemplifies the cardinal virtue of prudence in his or her public and private life?

And which candidate will best promote the sanctity of human life, advocate for traditional marriage, and protect religious freedom?

Well, if you’ve got an answer for that last question, then you’re among the few. Because for the life of me, I have never heard so little about these core issues during a political campaign. These core issues—human life, marriage, and freedom—which—all expressed so powerfully in the Manhattan Declaration and supported by half a million signatories, aren’t even on the political radar this year.

And that, to me is shocking.

Shocking to me because I know that politicians are survivors. They watch the polls. They know what people want. And all the candidates seem to be talking about is the economy.

One side swears up and down that they have saved our economy from another great depression. The others side says Congress is spending our nation into bankruptcy and that they’ll slash federal spending.

But no one—OK, hardly anyone—is talking about life, marriage, and liberty.

Why is that? It’s because we Christians--whether it’s from culture-war fatigue or worry over our own jobs and bank accounts--have not been vocal enough on these issues.

The Republicans devised their Pledge to America after months and months of polling, focus groups, and web chats. These moral issues weren’t on their supporters’ minds or lips—at least not until I asked you to tell the Republican leadership that you want them to address these issues. You emailed by the thousands . . . but it was only enough to get the Republicans to throw us a bone. One short paragraph in a 45-page document!

But folks, I’ve made the case again and again, we cannot have a healthy economy apart from morality and ethics. Without promoting stable, healthy families, without protecting life and freedom, without promoting a Christian ethic that values work and saving over instant spending and gratification, no economy or nation can thrive.

So, where do we Christian stand with our political leaders and the two political parties?
I want you to come to ColsonCenter.org today and watch this week’s Two Minute Warning. It’s called “Politically Homeless.” I want to share some thoughts and observations that may startle you.

And I also want you to share your thoughts with me. Go to ColsonCenter.org or BreakPoint.org and click on “Speak Out with Chuck” session. How should Christians approach this election? Will either party ever realty promote the values we hold dear? I want to hear from you. I will read every comment and will respond where I can.

But make no mistake. No matter how silent the candidates are on life, marriage, and liberty, we believers must never be silent. For the sake of our faith in Christ, our nation, and the common good, we must speak out.

3 Candidates Split the Vote : Myth Busted

Write In Gubernatorial Candidate Taylor Haynes can’t “split the vote” handing the seat to the Democrat candidate. Read “Myth Busted” to understand how and why Wyoming conservatives have a clear choice this November.

Myth Busted

Even if the Republican vote was split in half, the Democrat would lose.

With the recent GOP Primary election results there are 75,064 who did not vote for Matt Mead.
In other words, 71% of the Republican voters want someone else.

Even the Trib reported, in one of their recent polls, "38 percent are either undecided or prefer a different candidate at this time."

If there were three candidates in the race, an even split being 33.33% ... those 38% would be the deciding factor. After a primary election in which gave Wyoming two democratic choices on the ballot, there is more than just a whimsical dream of chance that a 3rd candidate is still a viable option.

Traditionally, there are only two choices on the ballot : Democrats and Republicans. Of course, the argument is that this election year has produced two Democrats ...

Matt Mead sent out letters to a highly liberal base - teacher union members. With his endorsement from the WEA it is obvious that he was granted that mailing list to just over "6,000 members" or "one of every 85 Wyoming citizens." In his letter he targeted union members: "I would be honored to have your vote in the Republican Primary for Governor on August 17th and I am asking for your help in talking with other voters about supporting me."
